Congratulations to Diva Communications, which has been honored by the Religion Newswriters Association. Diva Communications received second and third place in the category Religion Documentary of the Year

I Believe You: Faiths' Response to Intimate Partner Violence, which premiered in January 2011, garnered 2nd place, while 3rd place went to A Peace of Bread: Faith, Food, and the Future, which originally aired November 2011. Both of these social justice documentaries tackle widespread social justice issues viewed through the lens of faith.

I Believe You: Faiths' Response to Intimate Partner Violence tells the moving stories of survivors of intimate partner violence and examines how faith groups are beginning to address their needs. RNA judges praised the film's personal narratives, saying, "They take the viewer into a subject that is extremely difficult to present. The stories are at times tough to listen to, but the overall message the film carries deserves to be seen and heard."

Rev. Dr. Marie M. Fortune, founder of FaithTrust Institute, appears in this documentary.

NBC local affiliate stations are rebroadcasting I Believe You: Faiths' Response to Intimate Partner Violence through November 2012; contact your local NBC affiliate to request air dates and show times.

A Peace of Bread: Faith, Food, and the Future explores how faiths' enduring mandate to "feed the hungry" inspires a new generation of anti-hunger activists to combat America's rising tide of food insecurity.

Congratulations to Diva Communications!
