The Senate passed the Violence Against Women Act last week, but its future remains in limbo in the House of Representatives due to political disputes. The act highlights the problem many women face. During their lifetime, one out of every four women will experience violence from an intimate partner. Today, clergy are reaching out and supporting those women who become victims in their own homes. Odyssey Networks provided partial funding for "I Believe You: Faiths' Response to Intimate Partner Violence," a documentary that follows the stories of women and how their faith helped them into a better life. The film was produced by Diva Communications for the New York Board of Rabbis.
