Network: I AM Art Exhibit in Jackson, WY in 2018

Community Safety Network in Jackson, WY provides shelter and services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. CSN is coordinating their annual community conference in conjunction with the I AM art exhibit at The Center for the Arts in Jackson, Wyoming. The I AM exhibit features artwork by 31 women artists of Middle Eastern heritage, from 12 countries, and has been displayed in Amman, Jordan, London, England, and Washington, DC before travelling to Jackson, WY. The show is running from January 12-February 25, 2018.

Organized by CARAVAN, a non profit organisation focused on peacebuilding through the arts between the creeds and cultures of the East and West, the I AM the exhibit is "designed to address stereotypes and challenge misconceptions of the "other”,[...and] is a visual celebration of the crucial role that Middle Eastern women play as guardians of peace, celebrating their strengths and rich and diverse contributions in the enduring global quest for a more harmonious and peaceful future."
